1. Born in 1802 in the vicinity of Mount Kokshetau, being too small at birth, Shokai bi named him Kenesary.
2. Abylai Khan had thirty sons. From Mrs. Topysh, Sultans Kambar and Kasym were born. From the first wife of Kasym Sultan, Mrs. Aikumis, together with Kenesary, 5 more brothers were born: Sarzhan, Yesengeldy, Cats, Agatai and Bopai. The younger brother Nauryzbai was born from the second wife of Kasym Sultan.
3. Kenesary Kasymuly, like his other brothers, in accordance with the traditions of the nomadic military aristocracy, was brought up from childhood as a rider, hardened in the harsh nature of the boundless steppes, resistant to adversity. Heroic personality traits, cohesion, dedication and unstoppable efforts on the way to the goal led to early recognition of his leadership ability.
4. In December 1837, he wrote a letter to Emperor Nicholas I himself, calling for a return to peaceful relations that had an agreement in the time of Abylai Khan's grandfather between the two states, and to the boundary taken into account in the border. However, when the legitimate demand was not fulfilled, his request was ignored, and the unity of the country and the land were seriously threatened, and he embarked on the path of liberation struggle.
5. Soon, about 20 thousand warriors gathered under the command of Kenesara, among whom, along with the tribes of the Middle zhuz Argyn and Kipchak, the Younger zhuz shekty, Tama, tabyn, alshyn, shomekey, zhappas, zhagalbayly, there were warriors of the Older zhuz dulat, uysun and many representatives of other clans. In the national liberation uprising, Kenesary Khan relies on such heroes as Agybai, Iman, Basygara, Anghal, Zhanaidar, Zhauke, Suranshi, Bayseit, Zholaman Tlenshiuly, Bukharbai, Mynzhasar.
6. In September 1841, at a meeting of representatives of three zhuzes, Kenesary was elected Khan of the Kazakh people.
7. In the history of Kenesary, Khan was not only a wise ruler, a commander who mastered the art of war, a brave batyr, but also an outstanding diplomat, a sage. At a time when the colonizing Russian state was driving Khiva, Kokand and Kirghiz against the Kazakhs, and the Kirghiz tried to set the Middle Juz against the Elder juz, Khiva was Batyr against Zhangozhi, Zhangozhi against Kenesary. Under the tsarist regime, the traitors of the sultans were sent against Kenesary Khan. Despite such a difficult time, Kenesary Khan highly valued the interests of the unity of his country rather than personal ones. He solved many difficult problems with ingenuity. Strictly fought against betrayal, injustice, managed to restrain anger, through wise decisions.
8. In the battle for the freedom of Kenesary Khan demanded the subjugation of the Kyrgyz Manaps. However, the Kyrgyz, who had secret ties with the tsarist governors, did not listen to him. Kenesary had to attack them and subdue them. As a result of the betrayal of their supporters, Kenesary and Nauryzbai fell into the hands of enemies. In 1847, Kenesary Khan was brutally murdered in the Kekilik-Sengir valley at the southern tip of the Zhetizhal ridge of Kyrgyzstan. The enemies cut off his head and sent him to the Russian administration. Prince Gorchakov ordered to save the head of Kenesary by launching into the Main Directorate of Western Siberia "on the uprising of Kenesary".

10. After himself, Kenesary left eight sons born from two legitimate wives: sultans Syzdyk, Zhapar, Omar, Osman, Abubakir, Shygai, Taishik, Akhmet. Kenesara's grandson Azimkhan was part of the Alash Horde. Shot in 1937, rehabilitated in 1956. Kenesara's great-grandson Natai became an honored geologist of Kazakhstan.
